"Mason uPVC Vizag provided a very smooth experience from consultation to installation. Knowledgeable, responsive, focused on quality. Execution matched the Hyderabad standard."
When one window isn't enough. We engineer fixed, sliding and casement panels into a single frame — letting you fit a 4-metre opening with the right mix of light, ventilation, and view.
A combination window looks like a single elegant opening but is engineered as multiple panels joined by structural mullions. Five details decide whether it stays true and tight over the years.
The vertical (or horizontal) bar where two panels meet. We use a reinforced uPVC profile with embedded galvanised steel — it has to carry the load of both panels for forty years.
The largest, cheapest, tightest-sealed part of the frame. Used to fill the panels on either side of the operable centre — full glass area, no moving parts.
Where ventilation happens. Drop a sliding or casement panel into the middle of the frame — the mullions support it on both sides without compromising the operable mechanism.
The gasket runs continuously around the perimeter and at every mullion-to-panel joint. Each panel seats into its own seal — no leaks where panels meet.
Fixed panels can carry 8mm toughened for safety, while operable panels use lighter 5mm clear or tinted. Each panel within the combination is specced for its own role.
The combination logic is letter-coded — F for fixed, S for sliding, C for casement. Four standard layouts cover most projects; everything else is bespoke.
Central sliding flanked by two fixed panels. Maximum daylight, practical ventilation in the centre. The South-India bestseller.
Casement-leaf centre with fixed sidelights. Full ventilation when the centre swings open, premium airtight seal when closed.
Two fixed outside, two sliding inside. Slide both centres aside for the widest possible opening through the middle.
Mix and stack panels however the elevation needs. Two-storey panels with an operable strip below, T-shapes, L-shapes — priced per project.
Combination shines where a single window can't span the opening — typically anything wider than 1.8m or with a unique elevation requirement.
Two-storey or wide ground-floor openings where the architecture needs uninterrupted glass with a discreet operable centre.
Convert an open balcony into a usable room with a combination of fixed walls and sliding doors — common Hyderabad apartment retrofit.
Living rooms facing a garden or pool benefit from FSF — view through the fixed panes, breeze through the sliding centre.
Bespoke layouts spanning 3–4m, often with toughened glass for security and tinted lower panels for privacy from the garden.
A Mason combination window covers an opening up to four metres wide in a single fabricated frame — no on-site joints, no compromise on the seal. Beyond 4m we'll engineer a multi-frame system specced to your wind-load profile.
Combination windows fail at the joints — where one panel meets another. Mason engineers those joints, then tests them.
Every dividing mullion has galvanised steel reinforcement embedded inside the uPVC. The frame stays square even when the building settles or a wind load pushes one panel.
We assemble and test the full combination at our Patancheru workshop before despatch — including running the sliding/casement leaves. Issues are caught here, not at your wall.
A 4m combination is one frame, not three windows joined on site. Our team installs it in a single day, square the first time. No follow-up visits to align panels.

Common questions homeowners ask before ordering combination uPVC. If yours isn't here, ping us — we reply in under a day.
The most popular in South India is the Fixed-Sliding-Fixed (FSF) — a central sliding panel flanked by fixed glass. This gives maximum daylight with practical ventilation through the centre. For premium projects, Fixed-Casement-Fixed (FCF) is increasingly common.
Mason combination windows are fabricated up to 4 metres wide as standard. Beyond that, openings need a uPVC mullion (vertical structural bar) every 2–2.4 metres. Very wide openings may need steel reinforcement inside the profile — our team will spec it during the site visit.
Yes — and often you should. Fixed panels can use 8mm toughened for safety at full height, while the operable sliding/casement uses 5mm clear or tinted for weight. Each panel within the combination can carry its own glass spec.
Yes, with appropriate glass. For floors above the 4th, we recommend toughened glass (8mm minimum) on all panels — fixed and operable. Our team will specify the right glass thickness for your floor level and the building's wind-load profile.
From order confirmation: 10–14 days for fabrication (one to two more than a standard window because of mullion assembly and QC), then a single day on site for the install. The whole frame is delivered pre-assembled — no on-site joining.
